Community at Pinion Institute
Pinion community is a community of people brought together by thoughtful inquiry, faithful scholarship, creative practice and responsible stewardship. It provides a place where researchers, creatives, educators, writers, practitioners and others can engage with the Institute's work, encounter the perspectives of others and contribute their own.
Why Become a Member?
Membership of Pinion Institute is free and offers a way to participate more closely in the Institute's developing community of inquiry, learning , faith formation and creative expression.
Members gain access to the Institute's member spaces, selected resources, learning opportunities and community activities as they develop. Membership also creates opportunities to contribute to the wider work of Pinion Institute.
Members may submit articles, essays, reflections, interviews or other suitable work for consideration in Perspectives; have selected research, creative work, professional practice or projects featured through the Institute; and, where appropriate, include links to their own websites, publications, creative work or products.
Membership can also provide a pathway toward contributor, collaborative or publishing opportunities. Where another person's work is published, distributed or sold through Twelve Feathers Press or the Pinion Institute shop, that person must first be a member of Pinion Institute and enter into the appropriate publishing, contributor, intellectual property or commercial agreement.
Membership does not guarantee publication, promotion or sale of a member's work. Contributions are considered individually according to their suitability, quality and alignment with the purpose and standards of Pinion Institute.
Members do not need to share identical conclusions, disciplines or areas of interest. What matters is a willingness to engage thoughtfully, respectfully and responsibly, and to contribute to a community in which inquiry, creativity, faith, learning and human experience can be explored with care.
