Digital Product Policy
Effective August 2026

1. About this Policy

This Digital Product Policy applies to digital products purchased directly from the Pinion Institute online store.

Pinion Institute is an Australian business based in Queensland. Twelve Feathers Press is a publishing imprint of Pinion Institute.

2. Digital Delivery

Digital products are supplied electronically using the delivery or access method identified during the purchasing process.

You are responsible for providing accurate information required for delivery or access.

Purchase of a digital product does not include a guarantee of indefinite access to the original download or delivery service.

3. Digital Product Licence

Unless the relevant product listing or licence states otherwise, purchasing a digital product grants the purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the supplied copy for personal use.

Purchase of a digital product does not transfer copyright or other intellectual property rights in the product.

Except as permitted by law or expressly authorised by the relevant rights holder, digital products must not be reproduced or distributed to others, publicly uploaded, resold, sublicensed or commercially exploited.

Where a product is offered with different or additional licence terms, those terms will be identified with the product.

Nothing in this policy restricts any use permitted under the Copyright Act 1968 (Cth) or other applicable law.

4. File Formats and Access

Where relevant, the product listing will identify the digital format or other material technical requirements for the product.

Customers are responsible for having suitable technology to use the disclosed format or requirements.

If you experience a problem receiving or accessing a purchased digital product, please contact Pinion Institute using the details below.

5. Refunds and Problems

Pinion Institute does not provide change-of-mind refunds after a digital product has been supplied or made available for download.

This does not affect any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.

If you believe a digital product does not meet an applicable consumer guarantee, please contact Pinion Institute with your order details and information about the problem.

We may request reasonable proof of purchase and information reasonably necessary to assess the problem.

Where a remedy is required under the Australian Consumer Law, Pinion Institute will provide the remedy to which the customer is entitled under the law.
